BELIEVE
I
quality public schools are the
bedrock of a vibrant democracy. I believe through our collective voice --- no matter if we are black, white, or brown, no matter our job title, zip code, or who we love--- together we can defend our schools by makeing our schools the safe, supportive, and thriving communities our students deserve.
FOR OUR FUTURE WE MUST
Continue to evolve into an organizing-based union rooted in racial, social, and economic justice.​
Grow WEAPAC and members’ political engagement because every aspect of public education is political.
Stabilize WEA’s budget so we are prepared to weather the attacks that are to come.
Develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of leaders to build local capacity.
Develop the knowledge skills and attitudes of rank and file members to be able to organize their buildings and work sites to build power.
